Experian is one of the three major credit bureaus in the U.S. and a leading authority on credit scores.
But lately, smaller brands like Credit Karma have been elbowing in on Experian’s territory by offering
credit scores for free. Plus, being a “bureau” doesn’t exactly scream “friendly.”

Tasked with re-branding Experian, we came up with the “Be Better At Credit” brand platform and creative
to position Experian as more than just a source of credit scores. Instead, they’d become the company that
treated credit as a skill — a skill they could help you be better at with more expertise than anyone else.
It’s a completely different positioning within the category and one that is helping to humanize a giant
bureaucratic behemoth.
